Still not sure what kind of loan you need?
Most people come to us knowing roughly what they want to do, not which loan does it. Buying your first place, moving before you have sold, or releasing equity in retirement all point to different products, and the right one depends on your circumstances rather than a rule of thumb.

That is what the first conversation is for. No cost, no obligation, and no expectation that you already understand home loans.

CALCULATOR
Use our mortgage calculators to estimate how much you can borrow.
We’ve designed these calculators to give you a better insight into how the lenders will view your loan application.
The information provided by the calculator is intended to provide illustrative examples based on the stated assumptions of your input.
Results are a guide only and do not constitute financial advice or any guarantee that you will be approved for a loan by a lender.
You should always discuss your individual circumstances with a representative of High Point Finance before placing your deposit or purchasing any property.

Areas We Service
Which areas does High Point Finance service?
We’re based in Caboolture and work with home buyers across the Moreton Bay region, including North Lakes, Morayfield, Narangba, Burpengary, Elimbah, Dayboro, Bribie Island and Redcliffe, as well as the Sunshine Coast.
Where is High Point Finance located?
Our office is at 88 Cathy Ct, Caboolture QLD 4510.
You can reach Kyle on 0493 010 111.
Can you help if my suburb isn’t listed?
Yes. If you’re buying anywhere in the Moreton Bay region or nearby, get in touch and Kyle will let you know how he can help.
Does where I buy affect my home loan?
It can. Lenders look at the property as well as you. Acreage, rural blocks and some unit types are assessed differently from a standard suburban home, and some lenders ask for a larger deposit for them. Kyle can tell you early how lenders are likely to view the property you’re looking at.

The Home Loans We Specialise In
First Home Buyer Loans
Buying your first home comes with more questions than answers. How much can you borrow, what deposit do you need, and which grants might apply to you? Kyle has spent 12 years in lending and has helped hundreds of first home buyers across Caboolture and Moreton Bay work out where they stand before they start looking. You do not need to understand home loans before you talk to us.

Bridging Loans
Found the next place before the current one has sold? A bridging loan covers the gap, using the equity in your existing home so you can buy without waiting for settlement. They are short term, usually 12 months or less, and they cost more than a standard home loan, so the timing and the numbers need to work. We will walk you through what it would actually look like for your situation, and what it means in the local market.

Reverse Mortgages
A reverse mortgage lets older homeowners borrow against the equity in their home without selling it or making regular repayments. Age requirements vary by lender, generally from around 60. The loan is repaid when the home is sold. It suits some people and not others, and it affects what you leave behind, so it deserves a proper conversation rather than a quick yes or no. We will explain how it works and whether it makes sense for you.

Investment Loans
Buying a property to rent out works differently to buying a home to live in. Loan structure, deposit and tax treatment all change. We work alongside your accountant so the loan fits the wider plan.
Variable and Fixed Rate Loans
Fixed gives you certainty. Variable gives you flexibility and the benefit if rates fall. Plenty of people split across both. We will talk through which suits your situation rather than pushing one.
Honeymoon Loans
Some lenders offer a lower introductory rate for the first six to twelve months, then revert to their standard variable rate. Worth understanding what the repayments look like after that, not just during.
